Agni Yoga
The path of union with the sacred fire, introduced to the West by Nicholas and Helena Roerich in the 1920s.

Agni Yoga is a teaching introduced to the West in the 1920s by Nicholas and Helena Roerich. Its name means "the path of union with the sacred fire" in Sanskrit. Although its roots reach back to ancient Indian philosophy, it is in essence a way of life practiced in daily life, founded on conscious thought, love, creativity and spiritual energy.
According to Helena Roerich, Agni Yoga is a fiery synthesis of all the yogas and prepares the ground for the approaching Fiery Age. Connected with the Theosophical tradition, this teaching links individual transformation to the evolution of humanity: to overcome divisions through the inner fire, to raise planetary consciousness, and to dedicate one's personal life to the good of the human family.
