The Ageless Wisdom

The philosophical and mystical teachings of Theosophy aim to expand and deepen the universal consciousness of the human being.

Alice A. Bailey, 1932

Theosophy comes from the Greek words theos (god) and sophia (wisdom) and means "divine wisdom." The Ageless Wisdom is the essence of this wisdom, expressed anew in different traditions throughout the ages.

The articles on this page were prepared to present the basic principles of Theosophy in clear language. Ranging from cosmogony to karma and from meditation to the constitution of man, these texts invite everyone on a spiritual search to a journey in the light of this wisdom.

The Three Objects of Theosophy

  1. Universal BrotherhoodTo form a nucleus of the universal brotherhood of humanity, without distinction of race, creed, sex or color.
  2. Comparative StudyTo encourage the comparative study of religion, philosophy and science.
  3. Inner PowersTo investigate the unexplained laws of nature and the powers latent in man.

"There is no religion higher than truth."
